Nokia N 95 Black was introduced by Nokia in September 2007 and started shipping the cell phone in European Countries, Asian and Eastern markets in the same year.
Structure of the handset
The double mode sliding keypad adds more to the elegance of the handset. Sliding the display to the downside will show you the dedicated list of music player options. On sliding the cover upside, user shall see the regular keypad which is exactly same as that of any simple phone. The lens cover of this handset is changed because there was the problem of accidental activation of camera while operating with the phone. There are other operating functions like volume controller on one side, dedicated camera button, gallery review buttons, a tiny USB connector and a socket for charging at the bottom. There is a socket of 3.5mm for headphones thereby facilitating the users to enjoy their favorite videos and movie’s songs.
N95 Black is one of the highly impressive models introduced by the company having in built software for Nokia Music Store. It also offers a strong platform of N Gage games and various other facilities of social networking which make the user participate on messenger and related sites. The N95 8GB mobile phone supports a wide range of downloadable facilities and contents under Nokia’s Ovi multimedia umbrella which include Nokia’s YouTube like Video Centre.
With the integrated HSPDA connectivity, the speed of downloading data increases and the speed is approximately connected at 3.6 mbps. The strong wi fi technology can also be used which is more competent and cost effective.Almost 100MB of internal memory is supported by this mobile phone for messaging, contacts and other services.N95 Black is also equipped with polyphonic tones having 172 cords. A number of ringtone formats are supported like MP3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA.
The performance of Battery has been extended which increases the talk time of 160 minutes and the timing in standby mode is 160 hours. It’s still fairly a larger phone, which may put off the minds of some buyers. But the real durable thing you get is the box of functional and amusing features in what is a complicated smart phone.
