We started Summit Cycling Camps with a very simple idea: to provide cyclist the opportunity to experience the joys of riding in the beauty of the Colorado high country with the benefits of a fully supported ride. Support services include energy foods, water and energy drinks, spare wheels, roadside repair, clothing drop off and pick up. Our support vehicles are equipped with the latest in radio communications ensuring that our ride leaders are in constant contact with the support vehicle.
Think about it!
You worry about saving 10 grams on a single component or 30 grams on another. Then you go out on your usual ride with an extra 200 grams of clothing and food in your back pocket. Now you can experience cycling like the pros. With our support vehicles following, you no longer have to carry extra clothing, food, energy drinks, or repair equipment. All of those items are available at a moments notice from our support vans. If you need to get rid of extra clothing, the vans are there to take those items. Need water bottles or food, and the vans are there to answer your needs. So all you need to do is enjoy the experience of a great ride and let us handle everything else.
You Chose the Ride
We offer several route options riders get to select the route for the day based on difficulty, distance, and skill of the group. You will be able to select a ride where the terrain matches your desires and abilities. Along the way our ride leaders will be there to offer encouragement, guide you along the route, or handle any other concerns. The ride leader is in constant communication, via radio, with our support van to quickly respond to mechanical problems, supply feeding, changes of clothing or equipment.
Custom Rides
If you have your own group of friends, local cycling club, or racing team and would like to experience the benefit of a fully supported ride - we can make that happen. Want to ride somewhere on the front-range or western slopes? We can be there to give you the most professional supported ride in the business. We'll provide a Summit Cycling Camps Ride Leader and support vehicle for a custom ride you'll be talking about for years to come. In consultation with our Ride Director, you get to determine the date and the route you want to ride and we'll take care of the rest.
